The Research And Application Of Product Conceptual Design Model Based On QFD

In the process of product design, the conceptual design is the concentrated reflection ofhuman creative thinking activities, at the same time it is not only the most creative partthroughout the design phase, but also highly embodies the creativity of design, comprehensive,artistic quality and the richness of the experience of design personnel, also which plays adecisive role in the product innovation design. In this paper, the author take the conceptdesign phase as the research focal point during the design process, and divide the conceptualdesign process into four stages: master the product development strategy, obtain and analysisthe customer-requirements, put forward the design scheme and take the evaluation. In thephase of master the product development strategy, on the basis of the theory of TRIZ todetermine the product life cycle by product technology system evolution laws and forecast thefuture development trend, so as to explicit the direction of product concept design. In thephase of obtain and analyze customer-requirements, the author mainly collect customer-requirements by using the AHP, so as to refine and excavate the customer’s real needs. Theform of design-scheme is main work during the design stage, and witch is considered the coreof the concept design phase, this phase using two modern design methods: QFD and TRIZtheory, according to developing new products and redesign of existing products to put forwardtwo kinds of corresponding design model. In the esign-scheme evaluation stage by the theoryof Vague set, to choose the optimal design scheme in the circumstances of considering theeach scheme deviation.Finally, the paper integrates each design stage and put forward integration frameworkabout product conceptual design, and the framework is applied to the conceptual design ofmechanical watches spring torque tester, through the spring torque tester evolution trendanalysis and customer-requirment analysis, function analysis, device analysis and design, inorder to determine the clockwork design-scheme of torque tester and carries on the appraisal.Eventually,the case prove that the proposed product concept design model has more practicaluse, be easy to operate for engineering and technical staff, beyond that it is not only providean efficient design method for innovative product design, and it is conducive to improve theideal level of products in the process of product design.
