Short-limbed shear wall structure on the basis of ordinary shear walls, absorbing theadvantages of the frame structure and development of the formation of a new structuralsystem is suitable for people to live. as a newly developed structure, after several years ofengineering practice in China has achieved great development, many modern buildingsinsurmountable problems can be solved on the application. Which inequiaxial Z-shapedcross-section not only meet the short shear wall structure layout, improve building layoutflexibility, and meet requirements indoor visual effects, but also brought great convenience forthe design and construction of engineering。After several years of practice and research, suchas limb Z-shaped cross shear wall has been made in some research,but Z-shaped crossinequiaxial short shear wall is still limited, it is necessary to conduct further studies onforce-deformation properties of Z-shaped cross-section inequiaxial short shear wall. Based onprinciples computer simulation, this paper use large-scale nonlinear finite element softwareANSYS simulation test Z-shaped cross-section inequiaxial short shear wall under monotonicloading. The8node SOLID65unit with24degrees simulated concrete model and thereinforced was simulated by the LINK8unit model. By using separate modeling to reflect theinteraction mechanism of reaction between steel and concrete, and using the mapped meshingway. The main contents as follow:(1).Based on32Z-shaped s Short-limbed shear wall models with two Engineering axisdirection,analyzes the failure process and the Stress-deformation characteristics of all thespecimen,Discuss the influence of the flange ratio,、axial compression ratio, Concretestrength, pier-sectional thickness ratio. Analysis of the influence of various factors on thespecimens bearing capacity and ductility.(2).Based on the the conclusion and the existing theories,some reasonable suggestionsfor the design of Inequiaxial Z-shaped cross-section shear wall has brought forward, in orderto provide a reference for the design and construction.
