Urban Rail Transit Level Of Service Evaluation Analysis

With the rapid socio-economic development in our nation and the increasing of people’s living level,the urban traffic problems become worse. Urban rail transit has been paid much attention because Capacity,safety, punctuality, low-carbon, convenient, and will be one essential traffic mode in the future. Recently,many cities not only in our nation but also in the world begin to construct urban rail transit, which causespeople’s consideration of the problems because of urban rail transit.On the bases of large number of references, this paper analyzed the factors related to urban rail transitlevel of service, constructed the urban rail transit level of service evaluation system according to thechoosing evaluation indexes principles, established the evaluation model and verified the application of themodel for the subway in Xi’an.The main conclusion and achievements of this paper are as follows:(1)This paper comprehensively and systematically analyzed the factors related to urban rail transit andthe influence relation among them;(2)This paper surveyed the Line2of Xi’an subway, obtained the current condition of subway in Xi’an,dealt with the data of service level evaluation and analyzed the characteristics of trip purpose and tripmodes.(3)According to the actual characteristics of urban rail transit, the evaluation index choosing principlesand division method of urban rail transit service level subsystem, this paper chosen14core indexes out ofalternative set, which constitute the urban rail transit service level evaluation index system;(4) On the basis of establishing the urban rail transit service level evaluation model, combining thecollected data related to subway service level factors, this paper established the subway service levelevaluation model, analyzed the current service level condition.(5) According to the service level evaluation analysis of subway line2in Xi’an in Chapter5, combingwith the passenger flow characteristics and the current traffic condition along the line, in order to relievethe north-south axis road traffic pressure recently and increase passenger flow in the long run, this paperprovided corresponding measures and suggestions for trip modes and traffic facilities such as buses, bikesand so on related to Line2service level, to improve the Line2service level and qualify service.
