With the speeding up of urbanization and the enlargement of city scale, urban landdevelopment and the contradiction between the capacity of road traffic facilities will be moreprominent. At present, the large, medium and small cities have gradually appeared a series oftraffic problems, such as improving the overall efficiency of urban passenger transport system,the transfer of passenger stations and urban traffic, relieving urban traffic congestion, thosehave important and far-reaching significance. Automobile passenger depot is an importantpart of urban transportation system, and is a complex of multiple transportation modes torealize city transport and transfer function. Thanks to the development of city, Car passengerstation has been from the city center to the edge of the city. There is a larger gatheringpassenger in a short period of time, if there is no reasonable and effective diversion traffic onthe surrounding area will have a serious negative impact. In the past, most city of our countryin the car passenger station construction did not think too much of the external trafficorganization optimization, such as the transfer problems in vehicles and city traffic mode ofpassenger station, even in this regard because there is the act of one’s own free will, no unifiedplanning, unified construction, coupled with poor management, which leads to many bus inand out of the station outside the vehicle traffic flow is relatively chaos, and urban trafficcohesion is not reasonable, causing road crowded around the bus.In this paper, In this paper, we study in the process of combination of theory and practice,and guide the practice. Research ideas are as follow: the definition and influence factors ofexternal traffic organization of passenger station based on the bus station existing theory, thento propose the design objective and requirement of the external traffic organization on thebasis of the external traffic organization problem of a existing passenger station, and finally toput forward optimization measures according to the result of external traffic impactevaluation.
