Curved girder bridge is one of the important bridge forms in modern highway and cityoverpass. In highway construction project, selecting curved girder bridge in a appropriatelocation will greatly reduce the length of the route, and create considerable economic benefits. But some of concrete curved girder bridges produce various problems in the process ofoperation, especially the problem of bridge’s plane displacement. The present research showsthat change of temperature is one of the principal causes of this phenomenon. But the causesof effects of temperature on plane displacement, such as the formation of the mechanism, effect etc., are not clear. That’s the reason why I study this question. This paper will discuss the scope of application of several calculation methods ontemperature effect. It also analyzes the affecting factors of plane displacement and providesseveral measures to prevent bridge’s temperature effect. What’s more, the value of relatedparameters which are used to calculate the temperature field of concrete structure in thenatural environment are also analyzed in this paper, making a comparison of relatedregulations on the temperature gradient of bridge at home and abroad. Finally, based on oldcity victory bridge, I use finite element analysis software ANSYS to do the temperature curvebeam bridge structure coupling analysis and get the3-d temperature field regularities ofdistribution of curve beam bridge and the basic rule of temperature effect, summarizing thegeneration principle of curve beam bridge’s plane displacement under temperature load.I hope the study of curve girder bridge temperature field will have a certain theoreticalvalue and practical significance, and may ensure safety of curve bridge in operation process.
