Thus, leveraging the largeExposition to develop the urban brownfield In order to ensure efficient use of urban landin stock is very important.This article summarizes the research of the city brownfields development andexposition planning at home and abroad, Concluded that there is not a mature andsystematic research on combining the two at home and abroad. The author proposed theconcept of brownfield exposition parks for the first time, and take it as the research object.Focus on the following contents by using methods of literature analysis, case studies, fieldresearch and so on: judged trends in contemporary Exposition planning by cardingsummarizes the evolution of the Exposition planning at home and abroad; to sum up theplanning elements of the Exposition by summarized combing the planning elements of theexposition around the world over the years; Proposed key elements of the brownfieldexposition parks’ differences from the general Exposition based on its features, anddetailed analysis of these planning elements with cases. On this basis, analyzed andevaluated the characteristics of the Wuhan CIGF EXPO’s site, researched and guided itsplanning methods, and provided scientific reference for the Wuhan CIGF EXPO whichbases on the development of brownfield.
