In recent years, more and more reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) brought with theasphalt pavement maintenance required in our country, occupys valuable land, and pollutesthe environment.Study of the RAP regeneration technology, and realize the high content ofRAP recycling, will produce the enormous economic、social and environmental benefits. Thisarticle begined with the RAP material aging mechanism and recycling mechanism, and usedof advanced micro analysis and macro analysis technology, combined with the Bailey meth-od and the horizon functiontheory, and sdudied on road performanceand construction process,design method by the high content of RAP with central plant hot recycling.Based on the background of asphalt pavement repairengineering of Guanghui express-way, the main research work was focused on the following six aspects:(1) The study of themechanism and regeneration of aging mechanism of asphalt pavement. The aging mechanism,aging degree、component migration behavior of asphalt were studied, so as to carry outthe recycling、 aging properties of asphalt pavement of recovery.(2) Study on the processand properties of RAP milling recovery. The macro and micro analysis technology wasusedto research the RAP interface characteristics, properties of asphalt, aggregate, aging proper-ties andgradation variability, and recycled pavement performan cerelationship.(3) Study onthe mix design of high content of RAP asphalt mixture. Asphalt mix design method werestudied on the regeneration of high content RAP with central plant hot recycling by more than30%.(4) Performance evaluation about the high content of RAP asphalt mixture.Using avariety of methods to evaluate the regeneration mixture about water stability, hightemperature stability, low temperature crack resistance, fati gue resistance and compactioncharacteristics.(5) Research on construction technology of central plant hot recyclingmixture.
