With the rapid development of automobile industry, the competition is becomingmore and more fierce in automobile market. Many automobile manufacturers increaeefforts in research and development to speed up the upgrading of products. The car bodyis a main part of car, which mainly determines the shape of the car. It is also treated asa foundation for the installation of other parts assembly and the base for passengers.Meanwhile it is very important for the safety of the car, fuel economy and reliability,and many other performance. Therefore, the development of the car body is becomingmore and more important.Modern BIW design process is very complex, involving many departments anddesign staffs, and also can produce a large number of engineering data and files, andthese data and files are usually stored in PDM system, SDM system and TDM system,thus the demand of information interaction and data integrated management in theprocess of BIW design are growing.In the current market, BPMS is mainly aimed atoffice automation, administrative approval and other relatively simple processes, and itis difficult to deal with professional BIW design process effectively. Thus through thedevelopment of BPMS for BIW design process, design staffs can manage and monitorthe entire BIW development process, engineering data and documents.Firstly this artical introduces the BIW development process, and points out theconnection effect of BPMS for BIW design process in the whole BIW developmentprocess. Combined with the actual demand of enterprise, the BPMS function frameworkis built. Establish a system of three layers structure based on J2EE architecture.MyEclipse is used as the system development platform and Flex technology isdetermined to implement flow chart drawing and display function. The Oracle11gdatabase is used to store data.With basic theory of Petri net theory, based on Petri net model of BIW designprocess is built. According to the process incidence matrix, BIW design process isanalyzed and reengineered to provide resource base for the development of BPMS.According to the BPMS function framework, the system is divided into processmanagement module, the process design module, task management module, and userrole management module, and the function of each module is designed. Based on theresearch of the JBPM API and database tables, the process management and task management module are implemented. Through the analysis of the Flex technology, thisartical discusses the display methods of flow chart, and implements flow chart designfunction. According to the analysis of JBPM process definition file struction and theresearch about JPDL rules, transformation rules between the process definition file andflow chart are built. According to the theory of RBAC, database of system users isestablished. Roles in this system are set and distribution of the correspondingpermissions is established. Finally, the BIW process resource management arediscussed.This artical can implement each task node rapid advance and the informationinteraction in the process of the BIW design. The process template and process instancecan be managed effectively, and the process instance execution also can be monitored.The BPMS has the function of flow chart design and implements that the processtemplate can be customized, thus the adaptability of BPMS is greatly improved underthe condition of business change. At the same time, this BPMS treats BIW designprocess as the main line that can combine databases of the PDM system, SDM systemand TDM system together, and it also laid a foundation for zhe subsequent developmentof product lifecycle management system.
