In recent years, the development of China’s construction industry has greatly promotedthe social and economic development, especially some major projects to be bor n to localbring huge economic, social double benefit. And supporting infrastructure construction andproject is an important foundation to ensure production put into successfully, Therefore it isparticularly important to protect and optimize the progress of the duration of the projectconstruction. The current according to the project schedule management there exist a lot oftechnical means, in many of the project progress management technology the earned valuetechnique depending on the special advantage is widely adopted. Can pass it set up the projectprogress management and cost analysis between the bridge, to be able to achieve moreintuitive prediction and evaluation of the progress of the project duration. But due to somehistorical reasons the earned value technique also exists some shortage, in the traditionalearned value technology project reference curve and some evaluation index in the expressionof the practical project will exist in a certain deviation, cannot reflect the projectimplementation situation, the impact of the project leader decision-making behavior. Thepaper attempts to improve and perfect the benchmark curve and evaluation of earned valuetechniques. On this basis, combining with the project examples related specific usingcomparative analysis the improved technology to the progress of the projects optimizationmanagement plays a positive role, to increase the project schedule management analysis andcomprehensive prediction ability.In this paper, the main research work is as follows:(1)Summary reviewed the project management, especially the development of theproject schedule management, this paper expounds the characteristics of project managementcontent and target, at the same time for the project schedule planning and control managementof the common technology were summarized, and highlights the importance of projectschedule management.(2) Systematically introduced the basic theory of the earned value technique, this articleexpounds the detail of the earned value technique application steps and reflected thesuperiority. At the same time points out the technology in engineering practice some problemsin this field, and proceed from the defects in the appropriate improvements to existingtechnologies, mainly including the plan reference curve adjustment, supplement and perfectthe evaluation indicators and project resources assigned analysis. Analysis the improved theearned value technique the relationship between the elements. (3)Improvement in theory, on the basis of detailed analysis in combination with theengineering project example improved the earned value technique in the project schedulemanagement the role. Through the combination of theory and practice to further verify thepracticability and feasibility of improved technology, to improve the earned value techniqueof the application and popularization has laid certain foundation.
