With the transition of China’s economic system from a planned economy to marketeconomy and accession to the WTO, the project cost system of China’s construction hasbeen gradually adapted to the requirements of the market economy system. However, inorder to adapt to the needs of development of china’s construction market and theinternational competition, how to control the cost to improve the management level ofconstruction project is very important. Based on the status of our country’s costmanagement, by combination of the status of project cost management of22MCC, thearticle mainly studies the ways and means of the whole process of cost management.By studying the status of construction project cost management of22MCC, thequantitative and qualitative analysis methods are adopted to analyze the problemsexisting in the cost management of our company, and finally propose systematic andscientific countermeasures to solve the problems.First, the article summarizes the research and development status of the domesticand foreign construction project cost management, and by studying a large number ofliterature, set forth the relative theories of cost management of construction project. Onthis basis, combined with the status of project management of22MCC, combs thesituations of the cost management of the construction projects of the company, analysesthe problems existing in the management, points out the shortcomings in the costmanagement of construction project of the company. And then from the aspects ofimproving the quality of the managers, paying attention to the risk of contract costs,reducing the management level, adopting system management and target management,introducing PDCA cycle，Setting up responsibility, power and profit combinationincentive system and improving perfecting information system, etc., this article proposesspecific suggestions for improvement. By doing this, strengthen the construction projectcost management and control of the state-owned large-scale construction enterprises,which are similar with22MCC, so as to improve the management level of constructionproject,increase of benefits and enhance the market competitiveness.
