From a long time before, the indoor thermal environment of the hot summer andcold winter zone haven’t receive more attention, which cause the bad indoorenvironment in the zone, and more buildings in the zone has’t adopt heating and coolingmeasures. Just close the windows to keep worm in winter and open the window to lossof the heat in summer. But under such bad environment, the measures above can’t meetpeople’s demand, so the indoor heat environment of the residential buildings in the hotsummer and cold winter zone is relatively poor. In recent years, as the development ofthe living standard, more attention has been paid to the indoor thermal comfortability ofthe residential buildings in the hot summer and cold winter zone, in winter people beginto use electrical heater、electric heater and air conditioning for heating and cooling, tosome extent, these measures have raise the indoor thermal comforbility, it causes a largequantity of energy consumption.This paper presents the rensidential bulidings in Hangzhou and Hefei zone as thesubject investigated, the research methods of field testing and questionaires areemployed in the paper, it also intergrate with the climatic feature of the hot summmerand cold winter zone, propose the winter thermal comfortability criteria of theresidential building in hot summer and cold winter zone base on the analsis of theseinvestigation data and the numerical simulation of the findings. Hot summer and coldwinter zone is the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze river and the field around it,its oppresive in summer and bleak in winter, the temperature daily rate is smaller,annual precipitation is large and the sunshine is poor. The mean temperature of theannual hottest month is25~30℃,the mean relative humidity is about80%,whichassumes oppresive;the mean temperature of the colddest month is0~10℃,the meanrelative humidity in about80%,which assumes bleak and damp.The winter temperature in the hot summer and cold winter zone is higher than the northernregion,but the relative sunshine duration is considerably less than the northern region,itdue to the ugly weather、sleet the whole winter and there is nearly no sunshine.Theindoor thermal comforbility of the residential building dose not only ralate to theweather,but also ralate to the people’s thermal experience、living habit、culturalbackground、 the architecture feature and so on.so these factors are also the importantpart in the paper.We reach the conclusion through analysis of the investigation data andfindings:the winter indoor thermal comfort temperature of residential buildings inHangzhou is15.6℃,The thermal comfort temperature range is12.6℃~18.6℃;for Hefeiis18.22℃,The thermal comfort temperature range is13.22℃~23.22℃. local residentsespecially the elders(above50years old) have the better endurance capacity for coldbecause of the living habit which they have have form for many years,when it’s cold inwinter,only use electric heater and electrical heater can meet their demand,on thecontrary,young people and children use the air conditioning for heating more than theelder;the old residential buildings have no heating,some of the new built residentialbuildings have installed air conditioning,but the using frequency is not high,it’s about30%residents use it,because the tempreature in Hefei is lower than Hangzhou inwinter,the heating system of new built residential building are varued,include airconditioning、municipal heating、water source heat pump system and so on.This paper aims to through investigating the residential buildings in Hangzhou andHefei to put out a reasonable basis for the architect designing and the equipmentusing,not only meet the residents’comfotability demand but also prevent the energywasting.
