After reviewing the extensive literature and visited some rural families, we clarifythe status quo of rural residential use in Cold area, as well as building form, pointed out:most of rural residential is bungalow, which accounts for about86.2%; most of thestructure is brick structure,most residential house have not take effective insulationmeasures, cold air infiltration is serious. Rural residents mainly rely on the fire kang andstoves to heating in cold areas,nearly100%family use the fire kang,the heatingefficiency is low, indoor thermal environment is harsh in winter.In considered of the rural residents living habits of the Cold regions, we havebuilded a typical rural residential model.In consideration of the basis of rural residentsliving habits in cold area,we use higher thermal efficient suspended fire kang instead oftraditional fire kang,and set up the sunshine space to collect solar heat in the south ofbuilding.We use these two kinds of heating methods to design optimazitionalarchitectural scheme, and use the DesignBuilder which is the energy simulation analysissoftware to analyze indoor thermal environment of bedroom and living room of typicalrural residential bedroom and optimazitional architectural scheme under conditions ofBeijing, Jinan, Xi’an, Lanzhou, Kashi and Lhasa meteorological parameters, thesimulation results: the existing rural residential buildings in cold regions indoor averagetemperature of7.4°C, the average humidity is33.7%, indoor Fanger PMV value of-3.0.The simulation data have fully explained that the level of the indoor thermalenvironment of optimize residential program in Cold regions has been greatly improvedcompared with existing typical rural residential. The average temperature is increasedby6.5℃to13.9℃; relative humidity is decreased from10.1%to23.6%; the indoorFanger PMV value is increased by1.8, to optimize the program of indoor room value of Fanger PMV to-1.2; The premise of good envelope insulation work in cold regions,theindoor temperature can be increased by4.5℃in use of the sunshine space;indoor FangerPMV value can be increased by1.1; the indoor temperature is rised of2.8℃by firekang in average, Fanger PMV value increased by0.6.So, we should combine the local biological energy and solar energy resources,rational use suspended fire kang and passive solar heating technology to improve therural housing winter indoor thermal environment level in cold area.
