In recent years, with the rapid development of large public buildings, energyconsumption quantity is huge, the large public building energy saving has become thefocus of the study of energy saving. Based on the large department stores of itscomplex structure, high energy consumption, versatile, and high staff mobility,lighting energy consumption reasons, and its less simulation analysis on energyconsumption of air conditioning system in this stage. Therefore, this article on theXi’an, a large shopping mall building energy consumption situation of the researchwork is necessary.This subject of Xi’an city with a large mall building was carried out three testingduring the summer, autumn, winter. During the test we found there is a phenomenon ofuneven temperature distribution on each floor in the mall. As the height increases,temperature of each floor rise. At the same time, we also found that cold machine isrunning under partial load conditions, and the two cooler COP is5.82and5.26,respectively. The actual cooling capacity is only67%to77%of the rated coolingcapacity. Then we has established building and air conditioning system model of thedepartment store by EnergyPlus third-party software DesignBuilder. Verify thecorrectness of the model by comparative analysis of measured and simulated energyconsumption.Finally according to the simulation results recommended four kinds ofenergy-saving measures and analysis the energy-saving effect. The set temperature tosave energy by increasing the temperature of air-conditioned room, the simulationresults found summer air-conditioned room set temperature is increased by1℃, theentire air conditioning system can save approximately120,000kWh. Chilled water supply and return water to the large temperature difference, when the cold watertemperature difference of8°C, shopping malls energy savings of about91,600kWh ayear. After the use of water pumps frequency conversion technology chiller reducedelectricity consumption about68,300kWh annual. And the power consumption of thepump is reduced by up to601,600kWh each year. After the use of fan frequencyconversion technology chiller reduced electricity consumption about341,200kWhannual. And fan reduced power consumption about7.38kWh. At last, the energysaving effect of night ventilation technology used in the air conditioning. The artificialrefrigeration open time can be delayed a total of80h. Air-conditioning of total savingspower44000kWh.
