Study On The Technology And Performance Of Asphalt Mixture In Wide Temperature Range

At present,China’s asphalt pavement construction and maintenance generally use the hotmix asphalt,however,this method has strict conditions for construction,high consumption ofenergy and large emission in practical application,Therefore,in order to make the roadconstruction in the low temperature region,unfavorable seasons or the specific applicationenvironment, an efficient,environmental,timely mixtures construction technology hasimportant practical significance.In view of the above situation,to break through the restrictions of construction conditionsand widen the temperature range of the mixtures, in the different of temperature province,design and confirme a series of performance indexes of mixtures and make an asphaltmixtures which has excellent performance and the strong applicability——the asphaltmixtures with a wide temperature range of application.In this paper，the Mall-Kulun theory has been used to study the forming of the strengthof asphalt mixture in different temperature province. Analysis its strength in the differentperiod of mixtures, at the same time, Analysis strength forming and the influence on thestrength of mixtures form its and natural factors and influencing factors.Through the experiments and the relevant researchs, find a new mix proportion designthat suitable for asphalt mixtures of the wide temperature range.And this subject analysis therelation between the mixture workabitly and the mixing resistance torque, form the test ofworkabitly,design evaluation index of mixture workability.combined with the mixturesperformance characteristics and special application environment,proposed performanceevaluation method, the evaluation index and standard of asphalt mixture in wide temperaturerange.making a evaluation system, ensure the consistency of the experiments and application.In addition,by comparison with the hot mix asphalt, reflecting tihs asphalt mixture’sexcellent energy saving effect and economic benefit,but also shows the importantsignificance of this topic mixtures.
