Currently resident in Xi’an city size and distance traveled constantly with the acceleratedurbanization, but also continues to expand, grow, and urban residents showed high motorizedtravel mode and single mode trend. Xi’an recent years strongly advocated the development ofpublic transport, urban trips to solve the "last mile" actively encourage people to adopt bicycletraffic, to play its economy, environmental protection, low-carbon advantage, and a shortdistance to travel to play an irreplaceable effect. Xi’an bicycle transportation system can notkeep up with the rate of expansion of the city, bicycle transportation system is still not perfect.Xi’an as the roads are limited resources, bike paths constantly invaded by private car to bringa series of bicycle travel inconvenience and security risks. Since most of the roads in Xi’anexistence motor vehicle and bicycle mixed driving situation, which causes the problem,bicycle driving safety issues, bicycle and motor vehicle causes serious interference betweenthe passage of two kinds of inefficient way to travel, bicycle and motor vehicle is notcontinuous, serious conflict intersections, bicycle traffic supply is inadequate. Bicycle trafficin urban road network planning, there is also unreasonable.Papers focusing on how the motor vehicle and the road bikes Mixed separate sectionformally valid motor vehicle and bicycle to protect the safety and bicycle traffic traveltraveling continuity.
