Study On Comprehensive Performance Evaluation Of Discrete Manufacturing Workshop Production System

The workshop is not only concrete executive unit and production cost center, but alsoa profit center. The highly competitive external environment and inattentive internalmanagement as well as its traditional mode of behavior have caused many severe tests onthe workshop management for the enterprises. How to improve the management level isbecoming a profound practical significant research subject. To grasp the whole and localconditions, punctually identify the weak points and optimize the running process of thediscrete workshop, this paper carried out the research of comprehensive evaluation of theoperational performance of the discrete manufacturing workshop production system.Taking discrete manufacturing workshop as the analyzing focus, the elements,structure, and function are studied using system analysis method. An operational model ofproduction system based on the process is proposed, which solves the problem that it isdifficult to find out the influencing factors of workshop running due to its own complexcharacteristics. A new trinity structural model of comprehensive evaluation of theoperational performance of the discrete manufacturing workshop production system isproposed from the three aspects of production, management and service, based on thestudy above. By induction, deduction and method of Delphi, a set of comprehensiveevaluation index system is created; and the operating steps are established based on thestudy of FAHP. Finally, a case of JL Motor Company assembly shop is introduced toevaluate the operational conditions, identify and improve the weak points.The research provides a feasible evaluation index system and method forperformance evaluation of JL Motor Company assembly workshop, identifies the weakpoints in workshop, which provides a scientific basis for the improvement of theproduction system and effectively improves the management level of the workshop.
