The application of servo system is more and more widely in fields such as industrialcontrol and home electrical appliances, so people want servo system with more powerfulfunction and lower price. With the discovery of new Permanent magnet material anddevelopment in manufacturing Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM), the digitalAC Permanent Magnet Synchronous servo system, which is based on digital signal processing,use PMSM as executing device and adopts high-powered control strategy, has received moreand more concerns. As a result, the PMM control system must be an inevitable developmenttrend and the focus in the future. This paper uses TMS320LF2407A Digital Signal Processor(DSP) as the core, which is designed specially for motor control by TI Company, and doessome research on the PMSM control system. Including:The structure of PMSM is studied deeply. The mathematic models in three type referenceframe are set up according to their relationship, which contribute to choosing control strategy.SVPWM has clear physical conception, simple arithmetic and high utilization of DCvoltage; furthermore, it is easy to realize digitization. So it is one of the most commonmethods in AC motor control. In this paper, SVPWM is deduced and discussed thoroughly. Itsrealization means by hardware and software are given respectively.This paper adopts the i_d=0 strategy, in which the structure of hardware and software, theprinciple and realization methods of main function module are presented. As the hardware isconcerned, it mainly discussed TMS320LF2407A control system, current, speed and positionmeasuring circuit, and IPM Inverter circuit. Based on hardware, the flow chart of interruptservice procedure, which generates SVPWM signal, is given. The format of data, PIregulation method, speed calculation and generation of sine and cosine are introduced.The simulation of whole control system is done by Matlab/Simulink. In order toconsolidate the understanding of vector control, simulation is done by iPWM first, and thenthe realization of SVPWM is presented. The model of the whole system is constructed basedon iPWM and SVPWM respectively. The simulation results of torque, speed, current andvoltage of stator are acquired, which show the correction and feasibility of the design.
