Due to the rapid development of automobile industry in our country in recent years,the car market potential is tremendous. As standard of living is increasing day by day, thedemand of car shape is higher and higher, and car′s doors bending, as a special process inthe vehicle door assembly, has a great influence on automobile appearance. This papermainly design the electrical control system of bending machine of M11model in a carcompany, involving the machinery, electric, automatic control, PLC technology, fieldbustechnology, distributed I/O technology, and WINCC flexible technology.Siemens, one of the most successful supplier of automation products in world wide,has successfully supply a series of software and hardware base on PROFIBUS-DP andPLC. It has enlarged the ability of communication among field units, shortened theresearch cycle, optimized the software application, enhanced the system compatibility. Sowe should study the PROFIBUS Field-Bus from the theory of protocol level, and far morestudy the SIMATIC PLC. Those works will improve tech a lot.The composition, working principle and control system of car’s doors bendingmachine was detailed introduced in this paper. SIEMENS company’s S7-300PLC wasusing as the control core of the whole system of signal acquisition, processing and controlon the site. PROFIBUS-DP was adopted in Field control extension. This article describesthe application of PROFIBUS-DP in SIMATIC S7-300PLC, study the theory ofPROFIBUS-DP, analysis the protocols and message structure of PROFIBUS-DP. Usingthe modular structure design thought as a whole and in view of that the system’s I/Opoints were a lot and scattered, two ET200M distributed I/O modules were used as fromstation, The Siemens MP277touch screen was used as human-computer interactionequipment to monitor, operate and record the scene of the situation. The whole equipmentcan conduct a long-term, stable operation under the automatic state, or conduct a singlestep operation in the manual mode.
