In our society, the existence of such a phenomenon, which involves a numberof industries are in the elderly, the elderly as a special group of enterprise profitcontribution, but not really from the services to the elderly people to think in terms ofproduct design and production, a lot of social existence of the current products, most isto attract people’s eyeballs as the starting point, to stimulate people’s desire to buy, butignores the product easy to use, especially for the elderly to use products, less and less,even under the guise of services to the elderly elderly health products, also has notreally from easy to use point of view, not really understanding the elderly marketdemand, can not let these health products for the elderly health services.Therefore, this article from the industrial product design point of view, the elderlyhealth product usability research, expect to be able to let the elderly health productmarket designers, developers and producers to further understand the needs of elderlypeople to health products, so as to design and production in the future to fully considerthe special circumstances of the elderly to meet the demand, the health of the elderly.The research status at home and abroad are described in the elderly, lay the theoreticalfoundation of this paper; after the status of the elderly group, including research on itsphysiological characteristics, psychological characteristics; on this basis, combined withthe needs of the elderly, research the present situation of the elderly Kang Jian productdevelopment and use, and analysis at present the main problems the elderly Kang Jianproducts exist; and then from the usability point of view, puts forward the designstrategy of elder Kang Jian products, including principles, interaction design way andflow of product design, and by choosing the reasonable index of product usabilityevaluation; finally, design a case, to validate the results.
