With the fast development of the residential industry, various house buildings have been emerging.As a new force, one kind of the buildings which is called the mid-rise house has appeared suddenly and become very popular. Compared with the tier building, the mid-rise house increases the cubage rate of the building with better corollary facilities; compared with the high-rise house building, it has a good many merits such as predominant apartment type, less investment, shorter project duration, lower difficulty, etc. As its use becomes broader and broader, the structural design of the mid-rise house becomes more and more mportant, especially the selection of structure system and collocation of the structures,which has a direct effect on the security, applicability, and economy of the house. Based on the data analysis and contrast of the technical and economic performance of all kinds of structural systems, the paper gets the differentia of them, votes in relatively reasonable structural types which suits the mid-rise house and provides the basis for the design of the engineering. The paper mainly discusses the aspects as follows:First, This paper expounds the small high-rise residential structure system and its characteristics.Second, The special-shaped column frame-shear wall structure, short limb shear wall structure, large bays shear wall structure is applied to the same small high-rise residential engineering.PKPM adopted a series of structural analysis procedures, the overall structure of imported models. Under the existing structure of the structural design calculations and analysis, seismic indicators for comparative analysis of the calculation results. Find them in natural cycle, structural stability, horizontal displacement of the earthquake response, the similarities and differences between internal forces indicators, apply to the selection of the relatively small high-rise residential reasonable structure, and design proposals for engineering design.Third, the economic structure of residential properties analyzed. According to the design of the three residential construction plans, the cost of the structure are compared and analyzed.Fourth,comprehensive structures for residential analysis and calculation results of the reinforced concrete reasonable conclusions and decision making.Earthquake and evaluating economic performance, ecommendations for structural design and investment.
