With the rapid development of tourism, sightseeing car is showing strong marketpotential as a kind of special vehicle. However, sightseeing car needs furtherimprovement and development as a thing of newborn. Based on the background, thispaper carries out the research and design on hybrid electric sightseeing car.From the perspective of the tourist vehicles currently on t he market, thispaper redesigns the way to improve the transmission system of sightseeing car, thatimproves the way of original simply relying on power-driven to human-driven,supplemented by electric hybrid drive, which achieves a healthy, green andentertainment purposes.This paper studies the hybrid electric sightseeing car from many aspects whichinclude mechanical analysis, frame design principle, scheme of authentication,structure design, optimization of sightseeing vehicle. Firstly, in this paper, the overallscheme of hybrid electric sightseeing car is designed, which determines the mainparameters of the vehicle. Then, this paper introduces overall layout of hybrid electricsightseeing car, and conducts structure design on the transmission, steering system,driving system and chassis system, where focuses on the design of the rear suspensionplate spring. SolidWorks is used to establish three-dimensional model of thesightseeing car and check its condition.Secondly, this paper regards the frame structure of hybrid car as the researchobject, using frame quadrilateral shell element and a small part of hexagonal solidelement to discrete hybrid electric sightseeing car and establish the finite elementmodel of the frame. To identify the part of the frame structure needing to be improved,we use the finite element method for bending condition, the sightseeing car frameanalysis static condition,the braking condition of torsion. We conduct modal analysisof the frame to inherent the frequency of the frame structure and the main formation,providing the basis for the dynamic design and fault diagnosis of vibration system.Finally, based on the results of the analysis on the static and dynamic mechanics,we conduct the size optimization design of the vehicle frame by adding a constraintcondition and the definition of constrained optimization.
