Pure electric passenger cars gradually become one of the countries’ vigorous transportation with zero emissions, low noise and environmental protection. Compared with the traditional bus, pure electric bus body frame structure differ greatly, but at present, most domestic pure electric bus body is modified in a traditional bus body, so there are a lot of improvement in the body structure. This paper takes Zhong Tong Bus company research and development of pure electric bus body skeleton of LCK6850 EVG as the research object, using the finite element analysis in the analysis of electric bus body structure.First of all, In CATIA software, the bus body frame is completed. Imported to the HyperMesh software, finite element model of the bus body frame is established through the division of grid. Secondly, modal analysis is carried out on the body frame through the Block Lanczos method. The paper analyzes the bus body frame structure of top seven modal frequencies and its formation. The bus body frame modal frequency is mainly between 10 and 22 HZ, so the analysis results show that the low modal frequency of electric bus body frame is relatively reasonable. Then, using the theory of finite element analysis, the bus body frame is analyzed when the bus loaded with uniform motion is in a straight line driving at a high speed and the road potholes lead that left or right wheel don’t touch the road. Under these conditions, the stress and strain values, opening displacement deformation and diagonal rate are calculated. It provides the basis for the improvement of body structure through Analysis of stress concentration and deformation of the largest local and opening diagonal change unreasonable window and door. Finally, through the method of mechanical structure optimization, local improvement measures are put forward for insufficient place of bus body structure. Finally, it makes the structure more reasonable through size optimization.Through analysis and optimization, the strength and stiffness have been improved, and quality of body frame loses weight 6.28% proves that the scheme is effective. It is of great significance in traveling distance to improve and improving the power performance.
