Nowadays, all the OEMs are trying there best to develop the new car products forimproving the competitive ability. A car product usually only have3-5years during its lifetime. And it need the best time to go the market. So, once the car project is start, the projecttime is determinate, there is nearly have the chance to change the main plan. As the there aremany sub-project, and they are carrying out synchronously. Besides,one sub-project associatewith another, but the schedule is different, so there is always have bottle-neck on the projectplan. If the problems are not dealed with correctly, maybe lots of the paths will be suffocated.Even, the whole project will be delayed and the loss will be out of imagination.For this phenomenon, the article’s research is based on the C car project plan, finds theproblem. And then use the CCPM technology to solve the difficuly of the resources restriction.The article will based on the C car developing process, Apply the CCPM technology detailly,and use the heuristic arithmetic to calculate the Critical Chain, and use the Risk FlexibilityCoefficient Method to define the Buffer of different paths. At last manage the project plandynamicly in real time by building the buffer manage mechanism.The article design and demonstrate the project plan of C car by the Critical Chaintechnology, not only optimized the the project schedule plan, but also considered the resourcerestriction, human behavial factor, and also the related risk factor. Digest and absorb theproject schedule plan. Till now, there is no related CCPM application in the car development.So the article’s study has practical significance.The article’s main innovation first is the application which applies the CCPM into the carproject schedule management. And also optimize the design of Critical Chain and the buidingand management of buffer. It can observably optimize the the controlling segment and shortenthe constractin period.The design of Crtical Chain is based the tool of Project2007. Thedesign of buffers adopts the Risk Flexibility Coefficient Method. The calculation of buffersize considered the culture factor and innovation’s work time requirement. This made projecttime close to the practical situation. The management of buffer is managed by a newmanagement flow, which is exercisable for the project development.
