In the competitive global environment,the LED lighting product life cycle is currently shortened to nine to twelve months.If the project development delayed that means the new product start phasing out not long after its launch.The short product life cycle requires higher productiveness of new product development.Otherwise,the return of new product development's investment will be low.So,the companies must speed up the development of new product to extend the product life cycle and increase profit.This article studies the schedule management base on CCPM method with the consideration of resource constraints and uncertain factors.CCPM method introduces how to set buffer to absorb the risks of new product development.CCPM is good method for progress management of D company's new products development.This article takes the D company DL ultrathin downlight development project as the research background and investigates the problem of serious development delay under the challenge of management in the development.At first,the paper analyzes the status of D company's new product development management.Then it finds out the mainly problem is how to make a reasonable development plan and optimize schedule control.Secondly,the article introduces and demonstrates the method of optimized the project schedule plan which is basing on CCPM.CCPM used here to solve the projects schedule plan issue includes several steps.First step is to make initial project schedule plan using CPM/PERT method.Second step is to design the critical chain by using tool of project 2010.Third step is to calculate the buffer size and set PB and FB buffer based on CCPM technology.At the last step,by comparing the schedule plan of CCPM optimized and Monte Carlo simulation,the paper verifies the CCPM application in this article is reliable.In conclusion,this paper demonstrates progress management of new LED luminaire development projects in D company basing on CCPM technology to optimize the project schedule with resource conflicts.Actual DL project schedule are 4 days ahead of expectations after managing the project progress by the method of this article demonstrate.This is a satisfactory result.
