The automation system for water conservation which uses modern technology, givingthe computer science technical support for water conservancy related information data toimprove water conservancy work automation and management level, and to keep the uppermanagement agencies is accurate, timely and comprehensive information for the Water thescientific basis for management decisions, to achieve water conservancy managementautomation, information technology, automation and management to improve the waterconservancy to a new height.Firstly, there are functional requirements and performance requirements analysis for thewater conservancy automation system, and on the basis of them, elaborated the operatingmode of water conservancy automation system, and explores the basic concepts of designpatterns which names the three-tier system, then elaborate the technical which uses to designthe water conservancy automated system: PLC and configuration software secondarydevelopment technology, remote data transmission technology, database technology;Secondly, study the overall structure of water conservancy automation system functions, anddesign the system ’s main functions: monitoring center unit, the monitoring center system,communications networks and lightning arrester unit. Also for the system architecture of thestructure and data designing, followed by functional requirements on the system design, andaccording to business needs to establish a system database.Finally, according to the system ’s functional requirements and design, realization of thesystem via cable, fiber optic cable, GPRS as a channel for communication prior to eachmodule; achieve the system’s control center unit, the monitoring center systems,communication networks and the realization of lightning arrester unit, and finally waterconservancy automation system for functional and performance testing. The research for thedevelopment of water information is a certain theoretical and practical value.
