| Smart power utilization construction will be an important direction for futuredevelopment of electricity in today’s rapid economic development.Smart powerutilization planning focuses on a closersupply-and-demand relationship, and providesmore two-way interaction to provide customers with diversified electricityservices.Based on Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City’s overall planning,this thesisplaces an emphasis on multi-phase smart power utilization study of Knowledge City,which will guide the intelligent power utilization construction of Knowledge City.The goal ofKnowledge City is to lead the high-end industrial development ofGuangzhou, Guangdong, and evenChina, as new engine of knowledge-basedeconomy.In the context of development of low-carbon economy,the core of strategicdevelopmentof Knowledge City is planning the development of smart grids used toimprove city energy efficiency and achieve sustainable development of energycomprehensive plan. For the new starting area of southern Guangzhou KnowledgeCity, this thesis studies the overall construction architecture design, infrastructure,technology, advanced application technology, investment estimates and so on.Finallyshort-, medium-and long-term overall project planning are formed, includingmulti-step building programs of two-way interactive portal application andgeographicinformation system (GIS) applications with analysis and investment estimates.Smart power utilization planning of Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge Citywill employ advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), metering data management(MDM) system as basic technology, Ethernet passive optical network and low-voltagepower line carrier as a remote means of communication. In the part of user integratinggrid, infrared communication as first choice and ZigBee and WLAN communicationas supplementary are used to form a smart power utilization grid, including largecustomers, smart buildings, smart electric vehicle charging, and smart use ofdistributed energy.It offers interactive and intelligent marketing services with a varietyof business process to achieve quick response and accurate measurement, real-timecollecting, diversetoll, convenient service and to builda new businesspartnership ofsupply companies and customers of electricity. Smart power utilization will connectall the grid equipment through the internet of things to form a dense and completenetworkof electricity and information exchange. In the network, the information isintegrated and analyzed to guide users in (or direct) the way of electricity usage adjustment, reaching the optimal allocation of power resources, the implementation ofdemand side management, electricity customers costs reducing and improvement ofsupply reliability and power efficiency. It plays an important role in integrated energyplanning, improvementof grid efficiency and green grid building. |
