For the rapid development era of science and technology progress and thehuman life today, wind is not only a natural phenomenon. As renewable energy,wind energy gets more and more the attention of the world. Currently, theultrasonic wind sensors like wind turbine generator tend to miniaturization, andrequire the features of wind measurement equipment like small volume, lowconsumption, accurate and steady wind information measured. So it’s greatsignificant for wind energy efficient utilization to use a set of stable and reliablewind speed detection system.This paper puts forward a scheme of ultrasonic2D an anemoclinographmeasurement system. Based on time difference wind measurement method,studies on both the ultrasonic sensor detection method and time differencemeasurement method to look for effective accurate measurement method of timedifference signal method, that is phase difference wind speed and directionmeasurement method based on ultrasonic sensors. Through the contrast test, thispaper chooses the best sensor configuration scheme form cross scheme,reflection configuration and triangle configuration, on the basis of which thispaper establishes the mathematical algorithm of wind speed, direction and thephase difference.Measure the transmission phase difference between upwind propagation anddownwind which is same as the time difference between the two propagationdirections on two equal paths of ultrasonic pulse, gets an DC voltage signal fromthis phrase difference by the analysis of analog amplifying circuit and analog-digital hybrid circuit, and sends the DC voltage signal exchanged from timedifference to SCM, then wind information is gotten after processing in SCM.Hardware design of the wind speed and direction measurement system consists ofpower supply circuit, sensor signal conditioning circuit, single chip microcompu- ter system, infrared receiving circuit, display circuit, serial communicationcircuit, etc. Software program completes functions as signal analysis andprocessing, signal output, the infrared decoding, information storage, etc.Wind speed and direction measurement algorithm is analyzed in detail, andspecific solution of probable problems existing in the progress of wind synthesisis gotten. Cooperating with the used time difference measurement method, theultrasonic2D anemoclinograph measurement system realizes wind speedmeasurement of high stability high precision with the characteristics as smallvolume and light weight etc.
