As the current rapid development of mobile Internet, people have entered in thenew era of3G. Mobile devices such as cell phones have spread among the people.Rapid development of the mobile Internet promotes the coming of informationfragments era further.People was surrounded by massive mobile app and immersed inan ocean of information. And users’ mentality and behavior has changed in step bystep. Such fragmentation has spread to product also affected the design concept andstyle. Skeuomorph Design has become an inevitable product of the fragmentation era.Today, in mobile Web design community, many people compare skeuomorphdesign with graphic design which aroused widespread controversy. In fact, as a designphilosophy and methodology, skeuomorph design’s true meaning has not beenunderstood for all designers.This article is based on this view and the purpose of the study is aimed atinterpretation of the relationship between fragmented time and skeuomorphdesign.Meanwhile, based on the perspective of the times, combined with relatedtheories such as cognitive psychology, we analysize the methods, principles andcriteria of skeuomorph design for mobile products. Through this research, we hope togive a comprehensive understanding of the skeuomorph design from objective andimpartial position.In the first part, the thesis begins with analysis of the background of thefragmented,then present the features of information fragmentation, and resolve theemergence and development of the moblie Internet fragmentation. Meanwhile theauther analyze the market characteristics and user characteristics. According to it, thearticle put forward the users’ demand in the era of fragmentation as well as the effectsof fragmentation on mobile Internet product design style. Then,we get the conclusionthat skeuomorph design is the inevitable outcome of the fragmentation era.In the second part,the article analyze the concepts and methods of skeuomorphdesign on mobile Internet products. With a variety of methods, such as throughliterature research, network information, the auther illustrates the detailed concept ofskeuomorph design. And based on theory of cognitive psychology, emotional design,we discuss and analyze the specific method steps, and explain its meaning and value.And further, the auther propose the principles of design and evaluation criteria. In the last part, the author complete an accounting APP skeuomorph design anddescribe the detailed design thinking and procedure on the basis of above designmethods and specific procedures,in order to test and verify the design method.Certainly, as the era of fragmentation effects deepened, mobile Internet productdesign may be changed. But the pluralistic society allows a variety of design styles.The method of skeuomorph design is not omnipotent. It requires the designer to takethe context into consideration before designing. The main purpose of this article is toresolve the main design methods to skeuomorph design, also provide ideas forfollow-up study.
