With the development of construction industry, the environment problems suchas the global energy shortage, the global climate warming and the poor air quality areintensified. People pressing for the sustainable development of construction industry,in order to protect the resources, improve the environment quality and pay attention tohuman health. As a result, the sustainable building boarded the stage of hi story. Inrecent years, the development and utilization of solar energy in the global isdeveloping rapidly. In under the guidance of the concept of sustainable architecture,some mature solar technologies have been widely used in the construction industryand achieved good results. Solarwall technology is outstanding representative. Thetechnology can help buildings to reduce the degree of dependence on non-renewableenergy and significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions.In China, the quality of the products and the solar technology are far behind theinternational advanced level. The Solarwall technology is a advanced and efficientenergy-saving technology, has been widely practiced abroad, but there are only a fewapplication cases in China.In view of the above situation, the Solarwall technology application in thebuilding sustainability will be evaluated and studied in this article which attempts tosolve the following problems: What problem does the Solarwall technology solve?Which kind of building do the Solarwall technology is suitable for? What kind ofexpectations does the Solarwall technology to achieve? If the Solarwall technologycan adapt to the sustainable development of the construction? How to assess thesustainability of solarwall technology? What are the problems the solarwalltechnology? What is the future of the Solarwall technology?This article is divided into five parts: In the first chapter, through the analysis ofresearch background, which leads to main research content, research purpose,research methods and research framework of this article; In the second chapter,explains the concept of sustainable architecture, strategy and evaluation standard indetail, and points out that the sustainable building is great significant and its therequirements to achieve "sustainable" standard conditions; In the third chapter,explains the history of development of the solarwall technology, working principle,system composition, application cases and present research situation in detail, and pointes out that there is a huge potential that the application of the solarwalltechnology in the field of building; Chapter IV, assesses the sustainability of thesolarwall technology. Qualitative assessment through a large number of case studiesand gets the results at last. Using the clean energy project analysis software which iscalled RETScreen to set up home, commercial, industrial and crop dryingenergy model respectively, and gets the quantitative data and conclusion of theassessment at last; The fifth chapter, predicts the future of the Solarwall technology.
