Study On The Application Of Green Construction Technology In Guangzhou

In the past decades,with the development of energy-saving and environmental protection concept,building and construction industry is facing a major reform with the purpose of energy saving and environmental protection,which brings the green construction concept.The purpose of green construction is to achieve sustainable development and environmental protection.But a number of domestic and foreign construction projects' data has showed that many contractors are quite passive in implementing the green construction technology.Their understanding of green construction is relatively limited,including use of appropriate technology and scientific management methods and standardized thinking mode,which is result from policy,society,fund,technic and etc.What's more,Guangzhou,as one of the most developed city in China,comes out top in quantity of constructional engineering in China.The objective of this study is to discover the problems existing in the green construction in our country,to overcome the difficulties and to improve the rational use of green construction technology with scientific and effective method.This study would make contributions to the thorough implementation of the concept of sustainable development in China.This study analyses the present situation and problems of Guangzhou's green construction technology application by expert interviews,questionnaire survey,analytic hierarchy process,typical case analysis and statistical analysis taking Guangzhou as the representative.Although green construction achieves energy-saving,environmental protection,sustainable development,and the improvement of enterprise brand image,it is not applied widely in Guangzhou.The main reason is the defective laws and regulations,the deficiency in supervision by government and society,and the insufficient funding.According to Guangzhou current situation,this paper proposes the following solutions for the problems above:improving the related laws and regulations,strengthening the publicity and training,raising the supervision by government and society,and increasing capital investment.This paper provides reference for the application of green construction technology of Guangzhou.
