From the last century, China has always been entitled with the name thekingdom of bikes for the reason that China has the biggest number of bicycle. Due tosolve the problem of bicycles, we have invited foreign experts to investigate it. Butfrom last century90’s, the number of e-bike has experienced an explosive growth andriding a e-bike has became a very popular way to travel. For this reason, our countryhas become the kingdom of e-bikes for it has the biggest number of e-bike. By now,the huge number of these e-bikes has really formed an impact to thecity-traffic-system and causes many problems. But the problems of e-bikes are notonly because of the number of it, but also because the bigger, faster, heavier supere-bikes that produced due to meet the needs of the market and lack of standard. Thiskind of super e-bike has the ability to cause more severe damage in the trafficaccident, which means it can cause more problems. To prevent these e-bikes fromcausing problem to the traffic system. Many scholars suggest that e-bikes should beforbidden. And many cities in china have taken their advice. But e-bike as a new,green, efficient travel tool, does really brought conveniences to people’s lives. Shouldit be forbidden in this arbitrary way? This paper will discuss how e-bikes can affecttraffic system based on the analysis of Changsha’s traffic data&status. And givesome advice to city planning.This paper analysis how e-bikes affect city traffic system in three perspectives:the traffic choices of traffic system; the efficiency of e-bikes and how it affect theresources of traffic system; the safety of e-bikes and how it affect the safety of trafficsystem. In the traffic choices analysis, the paper uses the data&status to show whypeople choose to travel with e-bikes. In the efficiency of e-bikes analysis, the paperuses accessibility, mobility, traffic efficiency&time and spatial-analysis to show howis the efficiency of e-bike. In the safety analysis, this paper uses Smeed regressionequation to analyze the safety of e-bikes.Finally, through these analyses of e-bikes, the results show that e-bike hassuperior traffic attributes that should not be forbidden in recent years or the years next.And adapt the traffic system to suit e-bikes should be a better way. However, in thelong term, city still relies on the development of public transportation planning.
