The Research Of Vitality Revitalizing Of Blocks In Jianxi Industrial Zone In Luoyang

New China was established in1949. After three years of the recovery of nationaleconomy, decisions of the priorities of development of heavy industry were made, andthe implementation of the first five-year plan was done in1953-1957. The industrialconstruction of taking the “156projects” with Soviet assistance as the core laid afoundation for new china’s modern industry, and had a nationwide boom in the“first five-year” period. With the establishment of newly-emerging industrializedcities and the accomplishment of large industrial bases, a batch of large matchedindustrial residential areas were built, such as the “Hong gang city” residential areasin Qingshan industrial zone in Wuhan and the blocks in Jianxi industrial zone inLuoyang, etc. For a half century, the residential areas of neighborhood type built inthe initial period of the nation founding witnessed a brilliant page in the history ofindustrial development, and integrated into the whole urban landscape. It had been ahistorical carrier with the records of concerted effort and hard work process of thegeneration of new china, leaving us a batch of valuable industrial heritage. Nowadays,with the large-scale construction and update of city, many of these old industrialresidential areas have begun to face the situation of aging and loss of vitality, theproblems of economy, society and residence are having a strong pact on thedevelopment of settlements and cities. As one of the most dynamic areas in cities, therenewal and vitality revitalizing of old industrial residential areas have become one ofthe important research topics around the world.The paper took the blocks in Jianxi industrial zone in Luoyang as the researchobject, throughout the in-depth field research of the current situation, analyzed theexisting problems from the interior and environment of the residential houses, and theblock style three aspects respectively. Based on analyzing the special dynamicelements of industrial residential areas, summarizing and drawing lessons from themode and experience of renewal and vitality revitalizing of old industrial residentialareas in the domestic and overseas, the paper took the NO.10block as an example, bydiscussing the development of the potential consumption spaces, the construction ofthe elderly community and the progress of the tourist route, investigated the reshapingand lasting of the economic vitality, social vitality and cultural vitality. Combinedwith the related theory of positive space and negative space, the paper summed up the status quo of the positive space and negative space within the NO.10block, and putforward the corresponding methods and designs in order to explore effective ways ofthe reconstruction and utilization of the external environment in the block. Meanwhile,based on the perspective of color planning and design， integrated with the spacecharacteristics and color status quo of the blocks in Jianxi industrial zone in Luoyang,the color space structure of it was proposed in this paper. More specific ways andmethods for protection and renewal of the elevation of NO.10block were done aswell.Mainly from the mixed diversity and organic update of the function of the block,the reconstruction and utilization of the external environment as well as the protectionand renewal of dwelling-house’s color, a set of ideas were proposed in this paper todiscuss the feasible ways of vitality revitalizing of the blocks in industrial zones, withthe purpose of excavating the potential of old industrial residential areas, making it toregain the vitality, also injecting new vitality into the city. At the same time, itprovided referential model and experience for vitality revitalizing of other oldindustrial residential areas.
