Joint Modularization And Supply Chain Design Optimization For Green Product

The impact of supply chain should be considered during green product design process. And full coordination between product design and supply chain could improve supply chain performance. Considering the leader-follower relationship between product modular design and supply chain design, the coupling relationship was carefully studied in an optimal model, which jointed the green product modular design and supply chain design, was proposed in this paper. An empirical case study has been studied in the end to validate and analyze the effectiveness and robustness of the model, and future research is discussed.In chapter one, the background and significance of this study and several key technologies for solving the current problem were proposed. Also, related studies were reviewed, and the research structure was formalized.In chapter two, a joint optimization model of modularization and supply chain design for green product was described. Evaluation index system of green modular design and supply chain design had been constructed and expressed in quantified way for implement of this model.In chapter three, a heuristic algorithm based method to solve the multi-level programming model was proposed. Some background on Genetic Algorithm was introduced in terms of coding, genetic operators’ selection, initial population etc.In chapter four, a case was studied, from which the effectiveness and robust analysis of the proposed model were validated.In chapter five, with discussing the contribution and limitation of this research, the paper was concluded. Also, the direction of the future research was proposed.
