| Helical gear transmission as one kind of the important driving mode in mechanical drivesystem, it is widely used in various fields, such as transportation, machinery manufacturing,aerospace and so on, so the design quality of helical gear is crucial for the function of geartransmission system. The traditional design method of helical gear is a relatively large amountof tedious and repeated work, although the method of CAD/CAE can improve the traditionaldesign methods of helical gear and the design efficiency, but it can not completely solve theproblem of parametric modeling, finite element analysis process control technology and howto use the data of standard and un-standard helical gear.To solve these problems, from the point of improving the helical gear design quality andefficiency, this paper has done the following work:According to the actual process of worm grinding wheel forming helical gear, study thebasic theory of knowledge of helical gear modification and coordinate transformation and soon, to establish the model of helical gear modification and the deducing of helical gear’ssurface equation, to make sure the control parameter of tool and gear, achieve a parametricdesign of surface equation; To calculate all points in tooth surface of helical gear with theboundary of surface equation, set parametric model of helical gear with coordinates.To study the grammar and rule of INP in ABAQUS, achieve an automated finite elementmodeling and grid cell and parametric partial control of finite element analysis of helical gear.Introducing the possible of using data mining in the designing of helical gear, establishthe basic system of data mining of helical gear, discuss how to achieve classification of gear’sknowledge and how to express the example of helical gear, show how to construct thedatabase of gear, study the application of SIM in the searching example of helical gear.Achieve the system integration of parametric model and the divide of grid cell and theexample’s searching with Visual Studio2008MFC, and accomplish the parameter design ofhelical gear transmission system; At the end of this paper, to establish the model of standardand modification helical gear with the system, and achieve the meshing performancecomparison of the two models, it proves workable of the system designed by the method ofthis paper.Above all, the parametric design system of helical gear transmission can export standardand un-standard helical gear’s data and the INP file of ABAQUS, to realize the parameterizedmodeling and finite element analysis of helical gear, it is useful for parametric design ofhelical gear. |
