The solar simulator can provide a certain effective spot diameter uniform、stable irradiance of the sun radiation source and match with the spectrum of sunlight,and it is a kind of equipment about the testment and demarcate,which simulated the real sunlight radiation property.The paper studied the solar simulator that is an important part of measure the solar radiation in a meteorological radiometer detection system, and its technical indexes are strictly required.The design and analysis of the optical system of the solar simulator is the focus content in this article, and the principle、composition and the overall structure has been discussed in detail. This paper put forward a design optical system plan that based coaxial collimating transmission, it mainly design to lighting part and project imaging part of the optical system. Through to the theoretical analysis and practical calculation of the various elements in system, and finally determined to the initial structure of the optical system of the solar simulator. On the basis, it is modeling and simulating to the overall system to use the Lighttools lighting design software, and the simulation results showed that the irradiation non-uniformity of the system is≤±1%.Finally,it is indicate that the required technical indicators meet the requirements through the test results of the experiment.
