Solar simulation technology is a technology which uses artificial light to simulate solar irradiance. Solar simulator includes the optical system, cooling system, mechanical system and control system. It is a complex that combined with optics, machinery and electricity. It is an experiment or standard equipment that achieves solar irradiance characteristics under different atmospheric qualities in the indoor environment. It can achieve different kinds of solar irradiance intensity under the premise of fitting solar spectral distribution with high precision. It can simulate the sunlight characteristics in different regions, different seasons in a short time to meet the special needs of the experiment. So solar simulator is a equipment that includes optics, machinery and electricity. It is one of the best choice to build optical electromechanical test system.Optical electromechanical test system is builded based on the model of the solar simulator. It includes optical system, mechanical system, air-cooled system, control system, etc. Firstly, we design the program of the optical system and establish the mathematical model of the optical system based on reference to research status at home and abroad, used Monte Carlo ray tracing method in Tracepro software for numerical simulation, and analyze the influence of light source off-focus on the spot as well as the influence of angular deviation on the spot, which provides theoretical data reference for the design of mechanical system. Then based on the above simulation parameters, we designed mechanical system solutions and mechanical parts. On cooling system, according to the short arc light property, we selected the cooling method, and used the heat exchange principle to select fans. On control system, using SCM control xenon lamp and mechanical system ensures xenon automatic temperature regulation and systems accurate focusing. Finally, the whole experiment and research program were designed, ensuring the overall plan to meet the basic research and connect with practice.Through the above test system design and analysis of key technologies, the original purpose has been achieved that automatic control can be reached on the basis of three-dimensional adjustment of the overall system. By means of experiment, test system can measure the temperature of the spot center that can reach 680℃ maximumly and its total power which is 3kw. It can aggregate 6×106w/m2 of radiation energy in diameter 35 mm focal plane.
