It is not uncommon that vibration exists in our social production and life. Thevibration can impact on mechanical equipment, surrounding buildings or hydraulicstructures in hydraulic and hydro-power engineering. The mechanical or buildingcomponents can be loosed, cracked, and even damaged by vibration. The vibrationmight be causing a major accident. Therefore, it is practical significance for the testingand analysis of the vibration.According to the actual situation of our college, the model turbine test rig was builtin1983. The equipments of the water turbine have been out of repair for many years,the turbine runner rust and corroded, and the model turbine test can not run properly.For this reason, the model turbine has been repaired in2012. The vibration testing ofmodel turbine has been taken after the overhaul. The generator lower rack, head coverof the turbine, swing of diversion bearing and water pressure fluctuation at the draft hasbeen tested. Consequently, the vibration of the turbine generator set has been comparedunder different running conditions. The operating status of the turbine units and theeffect of maintenance have been evaluated.The aqueduct field vibration test has been taken in an irrigation canal which inNorth China. Limited to conditions when planning and construction of trafficengineering, and lack of awareness of the design, resulted in relatively closed betweenthe aqueduct and elevated railway. Consequently, when the train passes would affect theaqueduct. This test was made by DASP-V10intelligent data acquisition instrument.This test is performed both no-load and on-load trains, and the vibration data can beanalyzed.The main part of this paper is the model turbine vibration testing analysis andaqueduct vibration test analysis of hydropower stations, the testing is the basic of thework, analysis and processing of the data is the key step, and the main instrument of thistest is the DASP-V10real-time analysis software. In this paper, the vibration analysishas been carried out to the results of the two tests. The corresponding guidance wasprovided for the further maintenance of the model turbine in accordance with therelevant theory. The aqueduct influence of the train has been analyzed by the aqueduct vibration test. The guidance has been provided for maintain measures of the aqueduct,and it is an essential prerequisite for preservation of the aqueduct.
