At present,the industry of reinforcement for construction are getting more and moreintention from people, and it has been gradually moving towards the period thatstrengthening and building are equally important.The building of Sixties andseventies,under the influence of various environmental or excess load using for a longtime,are needing maintenance and reinforcement for their material performance is notenough to support the building security use.In engineering practice, the reinforcement isusually for the column or wall with the flaw or the low bearing capacity, while effectsanalysis for the seismic capacity of the global structure after local reinforcement is ignored.When the method of sectional dimension expansion is used for the wall or column, forexample, it will directly affect the stiffness of the reinforced members. However thehorizontal earthquake action of each member is based on the relative stiffness fordistribution. This shows that local reinforcement will not only change their seismicperformance, but also have some effect on the seismic performance of unreinforcedmembers.In this paper, the main content of research:1) Introduced the commonly used detection methods for masonry structure andconcrete structure and had a brief overview for a variety of methods of testing contents andapplied conditions.2) The commonly used reinforcement methods for masonry structure and concretestructure were described and analyzed their own advantages and defects.3) Analyzed the aseismic capacity of the whole structure after the masonry structurereinforced. When there are different mortar strength grade in masonry structure, first ofall,use the method of “simulation of masonry” for equal rigidity substitution,then moduleof masonry structure in PKPM series software module are used in seismic calculation.When the method of “reinforced mortar layers” are used for different parts of the wall onmasonry structure, the variation of seismic capacity for the wall which were not reinforcedand the influence on anti-seismic ability for layer thickness change are analyzed.Combinedwith project example,the influence law are used for seismic reinforcement.4) Seismic capacity are analyzed for concrete structure after reinforcement. Taking acertain schools lab building corner post reinforced for example, JDJG module in PKPM series software are used to calculate.Analysis the changes of horizontal earthquake shearforce of the column unreinforced and the influence of negative reinforcement of beam endbar after the corner column reinforcement,using "Structure member strengthening withR.C" and "structure member strengthening with externally bonded steel frame" respectively.And to carry on comparative analysis to the impact of two kinds of reinforcement scheme,at the same time, choose the appropriate reinforcing method combined with the originaldesign data.Through analyzing seismic capacity of the whole structure after reinforcement oflocal component, to understand the advantage and disadvantage position that the seismiccapacity of the unreinforced member be influenced. On the one hand, for a good position,we can make use of the beneficial effects in practical engineering for seismicreinforcement. On the other hand, for the disadvantage position, original reinforcement orresistance performance should be fully considered in reinforcement. When the originalresistance performance does not meet our needs, other reinforcement scheme forprocessing should try to be switched.
