With the rapid development of technology and the national economy, theelectricity demand in the power system has been increasing, so does the peak valley ofthe power load. Therefore, distributed generation emerged as the times require. Notonly does distributed generation ensure that the power grid operates in a stable,flexible and economical state, it also helps to relieve the pressure in the peak season.Distributed generation has been more and more common since the domestictechnicians have learned a lot from abroad in the industry. In the power market, theunstable power price impacts the profits of the distributed generation directly, so thatit’s important to come up with a proper bidding algorithm and an operational modewhich can satisfy the interests of both power plant and the power grid corporation.In this thesis, a specific block bidding algorithm of electricity marketscombining distributed generation is presented which can meet the basic demand of thepower market. Generating electricity by distributed energy such as solar energy,biomass, wind energy, geothermal energy and oceanic energy can reduce emissions ofpollutants significantly supporting environment protection. What’s more, it can alsoadjust the peak valley and improve the situation of the power system and theoperational conditions.The innovation of this thesis is applying the blocking bidding model of powermarket to distributed generation. The basic idea is ensuring output of the distributergeneration units preferentially during peak energy periods and then arranging theunits to do blocking bidding on the adjusted load diagram according to the bidding ofheat-engine plant. The minimize of purchasing cost can be achieved through adjustingthe boundary of lumbar peak period and combining the output units of base period.Quoting an actual data of one place and one day to simulate bidding according to theprocess of bidding as detailed above, and finally proving the blocking bidding isbetter than hourly bidding by calculation, which is proving the rationality of theblocking bidding.
