With the deve lopme nt of the power electronics and co mputer control techno logy,vario us power electronic devices are also wide ly used in the key techno logy areassuch as metallurgy. chemica ls and HVDC. While the rapid deve lopment and greatinterest in the related industries, alo ng with the negative effects become increasinglyprominent. Pollution resulting in a large number of harmonics due to the nonlinearload characteristics of power electronic devices will be injected to the power system,therefore the energy optimization is needed for high-power rectifier syste ms.Generally multip le-pulse rectifier and rectifier transformers shift is equal to thetechnical, but the materia l utilizatio n is very low. The new rectifier trans formers canbe achieved reactive power compensatio n and other functio ns, and improve it’sperformance. Rectifier trans former is core components in the power rectifier syste m,therefore the optima l design of the rectifier has a very important s ignifica nce.The main researchs are as follows:At first, this paper introduced the new types of high power rectifier syste m andits ma in conpome nts; equiva le nt c ircuit o f commo nly used rectifier tra nsformer wasanalyzed, techno logy of ind uctive filtering was researched and the equiva le nt circuitof trans former whic h was based on the techno logy was deduce, then, calc ulated itscapacity; Introduce the princ ip le of three-phase bridge type rectifier circ uit; Contrastnew and traditiona l power rectifier system s imulation model through Matlab/simulinksimulation software. The simulation results show that the system has good filteringperformance and reactive power compensation and energy saving.Then, design the rectifier tra nsformer; Calculated its parameters like dia meter,wind ing parameters, magnetic flux dens ity, current density, the open circ uit loss, loadloss, weight and temperature and so on through technical parameters; Ana lysed theinflue nce of various losses in the design of vario us parameters.At last, genetic algorithm is introduced according to more variab le of therectifier transformer, ge nerate the initia l population o f the rectifier through geneticalgorithm and establis hment mathe matica l model. Using genetic algorithm forrectifier transformer variable parameter optimizatio n. Under the condition of meet thesafe operation for transformer, first, with the minimum cost as the objective functio noptimized by genetic algorithm, and then in a substation, the objective functio n isminimum total loss is optimized, the last constraint cost recovery within three years invested in genetic algorithms, came to compare three sets of data, while taking intoaccount costs and losses, we have chosen the third program, and the calculatio nresults achieved the expected effect.
