Productivity of electrolytic metallurgy and electrolytic chemical industries in our country has been growing fast,consuming a huge amount of electrical energy.While the energy's utilization efficiency is generally low,and it's very urgent to reform these industries.As the main equipment of the industry,there is substantial room for improvement in large power rectifier system.Around the probem of high energy consumption,low efficiency and harmonic pollution,this paper carried out a series of research work,mainly reflected in the following aspects:According to the electric energy conversion process of large power rectifer system,the energy consumption structure of large power rectifier system is analysed to indicate the direction looking for ways to save energy.Combined with the components' principle of high power rectifier system and transformation process,rectification process are expounded,and the formation of harmonic and reactive power in rectifier system are analyzed.Composition of energy consumption in rectifier system is introduced and quantitative analysis is carried on main factors affecting the value of systerm loss.Ideas and ways to improve the efficiency of the rectifier system are proposed.Energy saving research on transformer,filtering device and rectifier circuit in rectifying system are did.A new type of rectifier transformer based on inductive filtering technology is introduced,and its harmonic suppression and energy-saving mechanism are explained.In this paper,ANSYS software is used to establish the 3-D finite element model of new rectifier transformer,through analysis compared with the traditional transformer,verified the new rectifier transformer 's good harmonic suppression and energy-saving effect.New filtering device is introduced.Due to the design of full tuning and high quality factor,new filtering device's harmonic suppression effect is superior to the traditional filtering device,and reduce filtering device's energy consumption effectively.Research of new rectifier circuit on energy saving is did.Multiple technology effectively reduce the harmonic and improve the power factor of the rectifier systerm,while buck parallel technology is effective to reduce additional loss of the rectifier system valve side and rectifier side,while the cophase counter parallel connection technique reduce the additional loss of rectifier system valve side effectively.New energy saving technology mentioned above are introduced into the rectifier system and new large power rectifier system is established.Simulation model of new rectifier system and traditional rectifier system is established by using MATLAB software,the simulation results show that new systerm's harmonic current in grid side is less than traditional rectification system,efficiency of new systerm is also improved.The simulation verify the new rectifier system's excellent harmonic suppression function and significant energy saving effect.Then,the new rectifier system of an electrolytic plant is tested,found that the new rectifier system can not only increased efficiency significantly,also suppress harmonic effectively.The test demonstrates the excellent harmonic suppression effect and energy saving effect of new large power rectifier system,demonstrates that the proposed energy saving technology in this paper is correct and practical.
