The complexity of the industry and equipment brings new problems and challenges to equipment using, management and maintenance. Therefore, a higher equipment management level becomes necessary. In order to guarantee high efficiency, low cost, health and safety of the equipment life-cycle, it is of great theoretic and practical significance to do research on method of health condition evaluation and maintenance policy.Spot inspection is applicatied more widely now and plays an important role in equipment management.With a large number of equipment operating status data provided by spot inspection, an equipment health management method based on spot inspection and the supporting software are studied systematically. The main research content is as following.The technical system of spot inspection is established for equipment health management. Classification, means, and technical content of spot inspection implementation are analyzed as well. Based on this, the thought and framework of evaluating equipment health state based on spot inspection are proposed.And related concepts are defined and illustrated.A fuzzy comprehensive method based on spot inspection for equipment health state evaluation is analyzed at closer range. Basic fuzzy theory and model of fuzzy comprehensive assessment are analyzed.Then, the model for equipment health state evaluation is established.The evaluation indexes are selected through PSR menthod and expert investigation; the weight is calculated by entropy method and A.J.Klee; the membership matrix is obtained based on the introduction of impairment grade. With an example, operability and effectiveness of the implementation of the method are verified.Health maintenance strategy is studied from the mode, type and range of maintenance with cases. Considering different features of the equipment, the mode of maintenance is determined through FMECA and FTA comprehensive analysis method or device classification. Using least squares fitting, the function is derived from the equipment health index in order to get the equipment health index on the average. According to the mean health index-failure matrix, the type and range of maintenance are determined, corresponding to different regions.On the basis of software requirements analysis, the equipment health management software based on spot inspection is studied and developed. The overall design of the software is carried out.The database is built by SQL Server; human-computer interface and functional modules design are accomplished with C#and Visual Studio. The software supports for equipment health management informatization.
