In recent years, power supply enterprise of all levels has invested considerable human,financial and material resources in the information system construction. With the constantexpansion of the grid and increasingly developmental of the electricity market, a largenumber of interactive data has been accumulated in various systems. Currently, how tointegrate, consolidate and process with real-time and non-real-time data from differentsystems, graphics, then provide each application with system grid model and quasi-real-timedata exchanging and sharing platform, implement the management of models and figures, aswell as the abundant management, mapping, transmitting, sharing of data, and provide aunified information service and an open integrated development environment, based on theunited power grid model (CIM), thus achieving a comprehensive analysis of a variety of newapplications, is the main problem that the IT applications faces in power system.Concentrating on the performance of information integration for the power marketingand distributing of China Southern Grid, based on Management Science ResearchMethodology, the article elaborates the theoretical foundation of survey research (includingquestionnaires and interviews), field research and unobtrusive research.Then, according to the law of development of the information integration for powermarketing and distributing. At first, an unobtrusive research is carrying on for the predecessorof the information integration for power marketing and distributing–the integration of powermarketing and distributing and an arrangement and analyze for the full view ofstandardization construction for the information integration for power marketing anddistributing. Then a research is made using questionnaires, interviews and field researchmethods for the performance of information integration for the power marketing anddistributing of China Southern Grid. Statistical analysis of survey results show theperformance and existing problems of the information integration for power marketing anddistributing in China Southern Grid. At the same time, synthesizing all the opinions ofexperts from managers, technical experts and operating staff of all fields, conclusions andrecommendations are made for information integration for the power marketing anddistributing of China Southern Grid. Finally, analyzing the scientificity of the research methods, the reliability of the researchresults, and the value of the research achievement, systematically summarizing the results ofthis research, combined with statistical analysis of survey results, a comprehensiveconclusion is made as well as a forecast of information integration for the power marketingand distributing of China Southern Grid.
