Black-start is the restoration after blackout of the power system which is due tounexpected accidents by using the other power system supply or using the self-starting abilitygenerators to start and drive other generators which don’t have the self-starting ability.Black-start is the situation which is the most extreme in the power system restorationprocess,involved in various fields such as generation,electricity transmission. The blackout ofMeizhou power system may also happen,so it’s necessary that studies black-start phenomenonafter blackout of the power system or the collapse of the regional power grid.Combined with the actual situation of Meizhou power system and analysis to Meizhoupower system framework and operation mode, this thesis chooses black-start power pack andpath, which can be quickly restored power system. The main technical problems in black-startare discussed, including producer self-excitation, supervoltage of the discharged line in thetransmission process, power system stability and so on. Some possible problems for thepower system restoration from the target system named “Changtan Hydroelectric PowerStation-220kVJiaoling Transformer substation-Xinsheng Power Plant”are also calculated andanalyzed. Black-start principles for Meizhou power system and the scheme are worked out. Atlast, this paper introduces the related content of the target system black-start test, analyzes andrecords test data.
