Chinese shipbuilding industry, has entered a stage of rapid development since2000. There are huge shipping requirement as the basis, coupled with the country’s strong support, has created a booming shipbuilding industry.In this environment, the shipbuilding industry has been a good opportunity for state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, foreign-funded enterprises have invested in China ’s shipbuilding industry. After a golden age from2006to2008, as the economic crisis sweeping the globe, shipbuilding couldn’t escape the same fate, fell trough. With such ups and downs, Chinese shipbuilding enterprises are increasingly feeling the importance of competitiveness in the golden era of competitiveness determines the attribution of high value-added shipbuilding orders, in difficult times, competitiveness is the only guarantee of survival.For shipping companies, the understanding of the past, competitiveness is the speed and quality of the construction site, but with increasingly sophisticated computer technology, the introduction of design software, makes the major shipbuilding enterprises understand that the merits of the design, reasonable construction is the real core competitiveness. Most Chinese shipyards in the past10years have carried out several rounds of design software selection and is now a common basic company AVEVA’s AVEVA Marine. But since most shipyards still in use AVEVA products TRIBON on the company’s old module, not in-depth study on the AVEVA Marine and traditional design flow method is also not a good play to their strengths, characteristics. Of particular importance is the production design of the assembly plan, assembly feasibility, optimization of the shipyard is the basic guarantee of cost reduction and efficiency, to do this, we can talk about the core competitiveness.Based on the above situation, shipyards in the production plan optimization design of the assembly have been made, based on the design software AVEVA Marine, A hull design coding standards have been carried out, proposing a comprehensive step forward, streamlining the design process, in order to solve optimization assembly programs.By six months, the country’s major shipyards, such as Dalian Shipbuilding Industry, Dalian COSCO Shipyard, Bohai Shipbuilding Heavy Industries, COSCO Nantong, COSCO Guangdong, Fujian Mawei Shipyard, China Merchants Heavy Industry(Shenzhen) and other research, in-depth understanding of the major ship the production design process, and comparing each shipyard combine orders ship trading performance in the market, production of construction period compared to analyze the merits of design, reasonable or not assembled plan competition to its core specific influence.The ship companies are using AVEVA’s AVEVA Marine or TRIBON.
