The loader is a wide range of applications engineering machinery, whichalso can be widely used in all kinds of construction project of the people’slivelihood, the loader also can undertake the task, which likes sand, coal andother similar disperses the shape material. When the loader is changed thedifferent handling devices, it can also perform the typical operations such asbulldozing, weightlifting. In addition, the loader can also push shipping soil,struck the ground and traction other machinery. The reason why the loader iswidely used in a variety of construction project is that there are many merits inthis model of loader, for example, high efficiency, high motility and highworking speed.We regard the ZL120whole boom loader as the research object in the paper,The specific design of the bucket, boom, connecting rods, rocker arm, and eachpart has been doing analysis, so that to ensure its structure, strength, stiffness andperformance meeting the design requirements. In the design process, we finallyselect reversing six-bar mechanism and finish the optimization design by graphicmethod, comparing to a lot of operating mechanism. Especially, the key parts ofthe mechanism, scraper bucket and swing arm, need mechanical calculation. Weestablish the parametric model of the integral loader by using3D software ofSOLIDWORKS and import the key part into ANSYS in order to do themechanical analysis. And we analyze the operational process of the loader byADAMS.Finally, we receive a loader adjust to the actual situation through an entiredesign process. The volume of scraper bucket has increased0.3m3from3.7m3to4.0m3, and its efficiency has been improved. The improved swing arm hascompact structure, simple lay-out and it can satisfy the need of actual production.We can get a mature plan to the design of the loader which is validated by the theory of finite element and virtual prototyping technology. It is significant for usto decrease design cycle and research cost.
