And I compile a data processing program in VB which can be used for processing and analyzing data getting by the grip force tester before the cableway leave the station. This program can get data from serial port automatically, and also we can input the data manually. As long as there are data in the database, we can inquire the data in different conditions including the maximum, the minimum and the average. We can get statistical results in different conditions and graph in different phases too. These all make us feel convenience in researching and analyzing the grip force. And also we can get conclusion that when should we maintain and check the grip in order to keep the ropeway running safely. Besides these, the program has the functions that it can register, statistics and inquire the other preferences including the man on duty, wind speed and the fault in running etc. It can also backup the database, when the database was destroyed, we can resume it. In a word, this is a perfect managed system on ropeway.The usage of the program, can we be more active, more objective when we maintain the equipment. It also brings useful data for the designer who can design our own circulating detachable type passenger ropeway earlier.
