The Research Of Industrial Heritage Landscape Design Based On Post-Occupation Evaluation

With the expansion of the city, a legacy of industrial site on the industrial age gradually "move" to the center of the city zone. Due to its characteristic, the industrial site become the burning question for urban. Under the influence of all kinds of theoretical research on urban construction, people also change their attitude to industrial site. The industrial site no longer be regarded as useless ruins, instead of being the symbol of the culture of the city. The reuse and construction of industrial site of city gradually becomes the very important part in the construction of city culture. People hope that it can inherit history context and reveal the city culture by the transformation of the industrial site. The landscape design of industrial site is gradually developed under the backgroud.The users’satisfaction determines the success or failure of landscape design, because the industrial site landscape is an important place for people to take activities. It becomes an important basis for planning and design to pay attention to the users’ response to the landscape design of industrial site.but in the existing design of landscape, the stylist failed to give full attention to user’s true feelings of landscape. There is rare practical feedback information to designers as a design reference. Therefore, take reasonable and effective method to the users of industrial site in landscape use demand and behavior investigation should be an important part to study the landscape design of industrial site.Based on the above reasons, this study attempts to use a set of relatively complete project evaluation system of "Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE)" method which rises in recent years. The author takes users’ satisfactional evaluation of landscape design of industrial sites as the breakthrough point to study the landscape design of industrial site. This method not only can effectively inspect the shortage of landscape design of industrial site and provide a basis for further improvement, but also provides the theory reference for the new industrial site landscape project.This thesis can be summarized as the following several parts:the first part is introduction. This part introduces the research background and the expected goal to achieve, and the research framework of this paper. The second part includes the theory basis and analysis. This part reviews the reasearch of the landscape design of industrial site and related design theory, and introduces the after using assessment criteria. It’s better to establish the after using assessment criteria of industrial site as theory foreshadowing technology. The third part is the establishment of the criterion. This part takes the user’s behavior of psychological habit as the starting point, and analyzes the problems existing in the design of the industrial site and the needs of users. And then it establishes the after using evaluation criteria of the landscape design of industrial site. The fourth part is the case analysis. the author makes statistical analysis of the data obtained, by investigating QiJiang park’using assessment which is a famous case of the landscape design of industrial site. On the basis of it, the author test the validation criteria and design between satisfaction the significance and influence factor of the correlation. The last part is conclusion. This part introduces the author’s theoretical experience during investigation and the limitation of this study.
