Study On The Function Space And Residential Apartment Layout

According to the state policy, new residential construction:dwelling area of90m2of housing(including affordable housing)area proportion of the total area of development and construction must meet more that70%to improve the quality of life for lower-paying crowds, and provide decent housing for these. The designer will be involved in their efforts among small and medium-sized unit with the aim of creating a high utilization ratio of multi-functional space.This paper has reviewed the achievement and problems of apartment layout structure for60years in China. On the basis of housing market research and development, such as family structure, social needs, housing pattern and nuclear family, and so on. In line with housing concept about Comfort、economy and application, its necessity to optimum small apartment layout design. With the purpose of seeking localize the best status and developing tendency of small unit space design, designers were dedicated to improving themselves to perfection by absorption of success cases about the small unit space design both at home and abroad, at the same time, taking into account the climate environment and cultural practices of Jiangxi Province. On these bases, a feasibility analysis of flexibility and space loop in small unit space design was pushed. The detailed implement projects and contingency measures of local space design were given to make use of natural light and ventilation. But everything has two sides, the negative of space design was pointed out, however, the shortcoming could be solved by new building materials and space structures. In the end of this paper, some achievements and shortcomings of this research in Ji’an City were presented, and then put forward relevant suggestions for further study.
