Since china’s reform and opening policy, the fast development of the economy has leadto the great consumption of power in our city. Although the output of electricity is increasingyear by year, the phenomenon the power consumption emergency is universal. However, thebackward of the management technology in public caused a particularly serious westphenomenon, which runs contrary to the core for construction of saving type society.University is a place for teachers to impart knowledge and cultivate students; the developmentof the advanced technology in public lighting has important guiding significance to oursociety. As a main lighting facility in university, the streetlamp management technology hasmany problems:energy inefficiency, great consumption and imperfectness of the managementmechanism. Our university has to pay giant cost for the great west of the energy consumption.Hence, it’s of great significance to build a scientific street lamp lighting system.The essay focused on the phenomenon of great energy consumption and theimperfectness of the management mechanism in colleges, and designs the streetlamp lightingmonitoring system. This Intelligent monitoring system is based on the wireless sensortechnology and fuzzy control algorithm. It integrates with voltage regulation control,dimming control, remote control and monitoring of human interface. All of the technologyhas made the system more humane in the use of, improvement the interaction between thesystem and human.The main characteristics of this system are based on the LED constant current-control,ZigBee wireless sensor technology and voltage stability control which is based on fuzzycontrol algorithm. The LED streetlamp’s constant-control dimmer is achieved by the powersignal of fuzzy controller which is collecting the current voltage sensor, and the output of thepower signal which is calculated through the fuzzy control algorithm. With the ZigBeepositioning function,the status of streetlights can be check by workers.Monitoring interfaceprovides a friendly man-machine communication. Latitude and longitude controller calculatesthe time of sunrise and sunset,then it can control the lights switching.Base on all,the systemcan realize the energy saving lights.In a word, under inspecting the actual operation condition of the University streetlight inthis paper, combined with ZigBee wireless technology and fuzzy control algorithm, thelatitude and longitude control algorithm, design the campus street lamp monitoring system,provides an effective way to improve and innovative ideas for efficient operation of thecampus street lamp.
